The upset of the NBA Playoffs now belongs to the LA Clippers. You could argue Milwaukee Bucks premature exit was up there but the prestige surrounding the LA Clippers put them as automatic title contenders considering the talent they had on that roster and the coaching. Unfortunately, the Clippers were unable to live up to those expectations and instead will need to recalibrate and comeback next year for another opportunity at glory.
Colin Cowherd himself was shocked after believing that Kawhi Leonard had not only ascended to another level in these playoffs but was ready to challenge LeBron James for the NBA's crown. With all of this flipped upside down, all Colin could do is go back to that decision Kawhi Leonard made to join the Clippers and think, maybe Kawhi got it wrong. Kawhi certainly got a king's ransom but it all seems for nothing without that ring. The early playoffs exit makes it that much more problematic. Colin suggests that maybe he should have decided to join LeBron James and the Lakers rather than attempt to topple the Lakers on that other LA team.
