In the Zion Williamson sweepstakes, the New Orleans Pelicans will be the team with the chance to possibly reset their franchise with something new and exciting while teams suffering from unfortunate circumstances like the Lakers or teams who were tanking with high hopes will have to make do with their position.

Most observations on the lottery results have concluded that tanking was not effective and should hopefully discourage teams from doing it in the future, but Ben Maller thinks we're far from this practice being eradicated from the game.
