Rob Parker and Kelvin Washington share their reactions to Mike Tyson’s decision to return to the ring at the age of 58. The legendary boxer is set to face 27-year-old YouTuber-turned-professional boxer Jake Paul in a sanctioned event on November 15, 2024, at AT&T Stadium in Dallas, Texas.
Rob Parker: "I think this is a huge mistake for Mike Tyson to allow someone of Jake Paul’s career caliber to eat off of his legacy, unless Mike Tyson is totally broke, needs money, and doesn’t care about his ultimate legacy. Fine, do what you want, but I would never let someone eat off my legacy who’s not WORTHY! I WANT MIKE TYSON TO GET HIS HEAD KNOCKED OFF OR KNOCKED OUT OF THE RING, because that’s what you deserve for pulling this kind of stunt!"
Kelvin Washington: "This is the issue with where we are right now: there is so much money in things that we weren’t accustomed to growing up, and so much money in clout, video games, and kids sitting down recording themselves... I think he’s (Mike Tyson) not going to want to turn down tens of millions of dollars!"
