New York City School Bus With Child On Board Struck By Bullets

Bomb threat against Los Angeles and New York Schools

A school bus in New York City was struck by a bullet after gunfire erupted on the streets of Brooklyn just before 9 a.m. on Tuesday (November 19) morning. There was one child on board the bus, which was parked in front of Thomas Jefferson High School.

Police say that an argument on the street escalated, and somebody started shooting near the school. One of the bullets struck the bus, though no students were injured. A 32-year-old man was shot and pronounced dead at the hospital.

Authorities closed off the block while they investigated the shooting. They have not said what led to the gunfight and are still searching for the suspected shooter.
