The Missouri Sports Hall of Fame is hosting one of the coolest events in the Ozarks.
The Champions Gala will not only benefit two charities but also includes none other than Pro Football Hall of Fame quarterback Peyton Manning, winner of two Super Bowls.
It’s set for 6 PM on Thursday, April 4 at the University Plaza Convention Center in downtown Springfield.
This is a dinner Q&A with Manning, who also will be available for photos during a VIP reception.
Manning, as you know, quarterbacked the Indianapolis Colts and Denver Broncos to Super Bowls after a stellar career at the University of Tennessee, and set all kinds of records.
And, best of all, the Missouri Sports Hall of Fame – a 501(c)(3) not-for-profit – is helping Champions Committed to Kids and Special Olympics Missouri
Champions Committed to Kids is a local organization that pairs developmentally disabled or kids with different abilities with local sports team.
Special Olympics Missouri provides sporting opportunities to children with developmental disabilities.
